First off I am in no way affiliated with sightmark.

Specs: (manufactures claim)
generation 1
magnification 2x
objective lense 24mm
field of view 25 degrees
field of view at 100 meters 44m
eye relief 12mm
resolution lines per mm 36mm
battery type AA x 2
weight 8.8 ozs
Made in Russia
Cost around $300

Features:
Built in IR illumination. Witch I might add is very good.
Rubber armored housing. Feels solid looks good.
Great battery life. up to 72 hours with out IR on.

Pros: light weight, long battery life, unit feels to be well made.
The included rifle mount was very solid and well made. The sightmark ghosthunter lined right up with my vortex strikefire using the include vortex 30mm high mount. The strikefire red dot was co-witnessed with my iron sights on my ar15.

Cons:
Useless as a rifle scope. The viewing distance even with a secondary illumnator is much too short. You may be able to see what you are trying to look at with the optic off of the rifle but behind a red dot sight ( I was using the excellent vortex strikefire) the reflection back at the night vision makes it impossible to see.
Constantly having to refocus. Most of the time you spend looking through this optic you will be looking at a blurry green blob the focus is very unforgiving.
Eye reilef the eye relief on this scope is terrible. You have to smash you eyeball into the eye piece to see anything but a green blob. (it could just be my eyes though.

Recommendation:
Maybe with a large objective lens and more eye relief this could work as a rifle scope but I would say save your pennies for something else. This device could work as a stand alone monocular but there are better less costly options. Needless to say this device will is going to be returned.

What is in the box:
Night vision optic. obviously
rifle mount.
carry bag.
instruction booklet.

Let me know if I can answer any questions about this unit.
